“Every single thing you do matters. You have been created as one of a kind. You have been created in order to make a difference. You have within you the power to change the world” – Andy Andrews
I had some interesting and dramatic realizations from my dreams last night and I would like to share these insights with all of you. So here we go!
Throughout my life, I’ve continuously searched for the deeper meaning of why things occur in the way that they do. It definitely is a journey and an ongoing process. I find that the discovery of these hidden meanings are usually realized during periods of major growth (i.e. physical, mental, emotional, spiritual). It is with reflection that we understand the reason behind everything that happens. And what are dreams if not a way of reflecting and mentally processing what occurs in our daily lives? However, some dreams are different and memorable. These special dreams can give us clarity about our lives and this is exactly what I experienced last night.
I cannot change anyone except for myself. Some people are not meant to change. People are perfect the way they are, even if they don’t appear to be on the surface. I realize that I have a habit of judging others. But who am I to judge?! I have no idea what another’s soul plan is or what they’re destined to achieve in their lives. There are many villains and heroes in this world. Both light and dark serve a purpose. There is no ying without the yang. “In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang describes how opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another.” Maybe negative people are sent into to our lives to challenge us and to show the positivity that not only exists in the world but also exists within ourselves. It is weathering the storm that allows us to appreciate the rainbow.
I know that I have a very special gift of reading people. I can tell when they’re not being true to who they are and when they’re not fulfilling their potential. I receive gut instincts of who to stay away from and also who to approach. My first impressions are usually extremely accurate but only if I listen to that inner wisdom from the beginning. After the initial meeting, the signals become much less clear. I believe we all possess this internal guidance. We just have to listen to it more often. Allow our gut intelligence (aka second brain) to help us navigate through life.
What bothers me the most is when I’m around people who are pretending to be something or someone that they’re not. I have a hard time trusting these sort of “fake” people because I know they’re hiding secrets and I can feel their inner conflict. This usually causes a strong emotional reaction within me whether it be anger, sadness, irritation, etc. I just want to go up to this person and say “WAKE UP! Stop living a lie!” But alas, that is not my responsibility. You can attempt to teach someone until the cows come home but until they’re ready to change, it’s not going to work. That person needs to be willing to change first before any of us can help them. The best thing that we can do is to lead by example and hope that one day those lost people find their way.
The most important thing I realized is that I must continue living my life in an authentic way. I know that when I pretend to be somebody I’m not, I feel awful about it. I am who I am. Either you like me or you don’t. But either way, I have to be who I truly am. Sometimes you’ll help people and sometimes people will help you. And sometimes those people are unaware of what they are doing or the impact they are making on another’s world. However, we all have a beautiful purpose in life. Even if we can’t see it yet. Just keep moving forward knowing that the answers will be shown when the time is right. And remember to learn the hidden lessons (because they’re always present in each situation).
And before I leave you all, I wanted to recommend a few books that I feel are pretty spectacular:
- The Little Soul and The Sun by Neale Donald Walsch
- Who Moved My Cheese by Dr. Spencer Johnson
- Only Love Is Real by Dr. Brian Weiss
- Life Is A Gift by Gill Edwards
Sending you all my love as always!
Until next time…
