21 Days and Counting…

Published January 12, 2014 by Maryann Kate

Hey Everybody!

First of all, I just want to thank all of you for your support and encouragement thus far. This is an exciting time in my life and I wanted to create a way to share it with as many people as possible. I know how much I love learning about other people’s life stories so I thought people would enjoy following my journey as it’s unfolding. It will be interesting to see what the future holds. It’s going to be the ride of a lifetime and I’m 100% ready for it!

Now I have told a good amount of people about my upcoming plans. But for those of you who don’t know, allow me to explain. I am embarking on a 6 month working “holiday” (that’s a fancy word for vacation) in the land down under aka Australia. As soon as I tell people this, they get super excited for me (some people even ask if they can come along!). Many people have asked me why I chose Australia and to be completely honest, I’m not exactly sure why. What I can say is that I’m following my heart and taking a leap of faith. I feel guided to go to Australia for some reason and I’m not questioning my intuition (which has never lead me wrong before). Amazing things happen when I trust in the Universe and that’s what I’m doing.

Basically, I am traveling to Australia with no plans what so ever. This is the complete opposite of how I am right now because I always plan out everything. But I truly believe it will work out for the best. I’m going to take it one day at a time and enjoy the journey. I’m going to try to learn more about myself and see life differently. I may even end up writing a book about all my adventures during this trip (like in Eat, Pray, Love). Living my life with no regrets is what I fully intend to do šŸ™‚

So, I will be updating this blog at least once a week (possibly more). But feel free to contact me on Facebook or email whenever you feel like it. I will answer messages as soon as I can. I bide you farewell until next week šŸ™‚
